    well form knowledge id say a plasma bc they produce the best natural color and detail. but i havnt seen any in 46″ only 42″ and 50″ around that size. dont believe any of the myths of plasmas that have been going around for years. they are excellent tvs and last a very long time, as long as any other type. and for brand id go #1 panasonic then #2 samsung (non my favorite but excellent picture) then hitachi well actually id have them at #2. those are the best ones id put my money on and no other brands for sure.only them and nothing cheaper. well you could go more expensive and go pioneer plasma they are the best. but very pricy

    You can go up to about 42″ with plasma and up over 60″ with DLP. You can definitely get a bigger screen with DLP which would run you about the same cost. For example, my store sells a 42″ Samsung Plasma for the same price as a 50″ Samsung DLP. I do have a comparison LCD’s vs. Plasma technology. If you’d like a copy of this, let me know at
